Q. How do I use the self-checkout machine?
Located on Level 2 of the Robert W. Woodruff Library, self-checkout machines provide a quick and easy, contactless alternative to checkout library materials.
- Use the card reader to swipe your Emory ID card.
- Place the book under the scanner to read the library barcode.
- Slide the book, spine down, into the self-check cradle. Wait for the sound to confirm the scan.
- Review the list of items on the screen to ensure all items properly checked-out.
- Press "Done" to complete the transaction.
- You will receive an email message confirming the items charged to your account and corresponding due dates.
