The library provides a limited number of audiobooks and ebooks via three platforms.

Emory's Overdrive subscription through which users of our library can download titles to Mac, Windows, or a variety of mobile devices (Kindle, ipad, iphone, MP3 player, etc.). Students, faculty, and staff members with valid Emory University IDs may check out up to two materials for a period of two weeks. Overdrive e-books cannot be recalled like books from the regular collection. Titles and availability vary.

The Naxos Spoken Word Library has over 6,000 audiobooks in English, French, German, and Portuguese, with a focus on classic and other public domain books. A downloadable mobile app allows offline listening, though requires further registration. Access the Naxos Spoken Word Library via Emory's Databases on the library website.

The Marian K. Heilbrun Music & Media Library has limited holdings of audiobooks on CD, including a range of popular fiction to classics. Use DiscoverE to search desired titles and choose the "Audio" limiter to locate the call number. Audiobooks on CD can be checked out at the Music & Media Library by providing the staff with the call number (ex. CD 19641).
