Instructors and/or their proxies can use the libraries' Course Reserves system to:

  • Place reserve requests to be processed by library staff, including for creating and uploading PDFs, assessing copyright, seeking e-resources, etc.
  • Add web links for Emory resources or external websites to their courses
  • Upload PDFs and other types of files
    • Please note that content placed on Course Reserves must comply with U.S. Copyright Law.
    • Please see Reserves and Copyright for more information
  • Add item tags and manage reserves item lists
  • Copy reserve item web links for inclusion in assignments and syllabi

You can also place reserve requests for library-owned items directly in the libraries' catalog, Library Search

  • Search for a desired item
  • Click on the Locate/Request link for the item
  • Be sure you're logged in
  • Click the Place on Reserves link in the item's Get It section

Visit Course Reserves for Instructors for further information about adding/reactivating reserve items, Canvas access, and more.
