You may recall items that are currently checked out to other patrons. A recall request will shorten the due date for the book to ten days from the date of notification of the recall. You will be notified once the book is returned and available for pickup.

To place a recall:

  • First make sure the item is checked out in discoverE.  
  • Log in to your account (the link is on the upper right in discoverE) and select the "Request" tab to place a recall.
  • Make sure to select the correct pickup library.
