A great way to search for an e-book across Emory’s collections is by using Library Search.

Use the "Limit your search" box on the left hand side. Filter access to “Online” and resource type to "Book"

There will still be far too many results to look through manually. To find specific titles, enter the title of the book into the main search box. You can also use keywords to find books on a particular subject.

For a keyword search, you can use more of the "Limit your Search" filters such as collection, era, genre, or subject etc. to further refine.

Depending on the publisher and other factors, access to each e-book will be slightly different. Many e-books will be downloadable onto a device and most (if not all) should be readable online.

Once you have selected your e-book, click on the title to see your options. Then select "connect" to access the database or direct link to the e-book.

In this case, the connect button leads directly to a full text link and you can view the e-book online.

See our e-books guide for more information. Emory University also provides access to e-books via Overdrive.
